Screen candidates automatically via WhatsApp

Create a screening campaign

1. Open WhatsApp Screening in the menu.
2. Click Create your first campaign (or create a new one).
3. Enter a Campaign name and choose the Vacancy and the Stage that starts the screening (Trigger: "Application enters ATS stage").
4. Optionally Copy from vacancy screening or Start empty.
5. Click Create and edit screening and add questions, documents, AI instructions and follow-ups.
6. Publish the screening and click Activate.

Each application is screened at most once per campaign. You can Pause, Archive or delete a campaign at any time.

Sending from your own number

By default, messages use HireLab's shared WhatsApp account. To use your own WhatsApp Business number, open Integrations > WhatsApp Business and click Connect with Facebook, then Use this number.

Why didn't a screening start?

The status tells you, for example:

• missing or invalid phone number on the application
• the application was rejected or archived
• everything was already known from the application
• the candidate asked not to be contacted on WhatsApp, or did not reply
