Chat with candidates and schedule interviews
Message candidates through a secure chat link, send interview time suggestions, and connect Calendly or your own SMTP mailbox for invitations and emails.
Start a chat
- Open the candidate in Candidates.
- Click Start Chat. The candidate needs an email address on file.
- The candidate receives a secure link and can reply in Chat with Recruiter, including images. You are notified about new messages.
If a candidate tells you the link doesn't work ("Invalid or expired link"), start the chat again to send a new link.
Schedule an interview
- Open the candidate and click Schedule Interview.
- Choose suitable interview times and send the suggestions.
- The candidate selects a time in the chat.
Connect your calendar and mailbox
Open Account (settings) > Integrations:
- Calendly: click Connect to use your Calendly scheduling.
- SMTP: connect your own mailbox (Host, Port, Password) so emails to candidates are sent from your inbox. If you disconnect, emails are no longer sent from your inbox.
